Meet Our Co-Founders

Meet Bryan & Mandy Hunt

Bryan Hunt

Johnnie Bryan Hunt, Jr. was born in Little Rock Arkansas to the late Johnnie Bryan Hunt, Sr. and Johnelle Hunt, the entrepreneurs who founded JB Hunt Transportation Services. In addition to Little Rock and Stuttgart, Arkansas he has also lived in Dallas and Mesquite, Texas. However, he is proud to call Northwest Arkansas home and by far his favorite place to live.

“I recommend living somewhere else and then making Northwest Arkansas your final home,” he says. “Once you do that, then you’ll know.”

“If you have an opportunity to go to the U of A, it’s an easy choice. If you have any doubts, just take a walk-up Maple Avenue on a football game day to the stadium. Sit in the stands and call the Hogs. Then you’ll really get it!”

Bryan graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BSBA in marketing and transportation in 1983, he says he is passionate about the issues of food insecurity and health care. In his free time, you can find him fishing, traveling, or spending time with his five children and growing number of grandchildren.

Mandy Hunt

Amanda Nicole Hunt, known by “Mandy” to most people and “Mama Hunt” to a few student-athletes was born in Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to Missouri, Mandy has lived in Iowa, Illinois, Colorado, and Arizona. Like Bryan, Northwest Arkansas will always be home sweet home.

“Our community has the best of both worlds – everything you’d hope to find in a big city but with a small-town vibe,” she says. “The folks here live and die for their Razorbacks and show their pride through all seasons and even in the off-season.”

Mandy is passionate about caring for others, which is why she and Bryan started AAC. Through this organization, the couple can help student-athletes on their professional path while doing a world of good for the area non-profits that are making such a difference in our community.
